Self-help

Do you feel that you use too much alcohol? Would you like to cut down on your drinking? Or stop drinking completely? Most people are able to make changes in the way they use various substances by themselves.

Counters allow you to make use of a range of calculators as part of your plan to control drinking. The ProMille Counter is an easy way of calculating the alcohol level in your blood. The Dose Counter converts the intake of alcohol into standard doses. The Limit Counter indicates when the state of intoxication exceeds one pro mille.

If you are worried about your drinking, it is advisable to keep a diary to record the amount of alcohol you use and the situations in which you do so. If you wish, you can make use of AddictionLink’s excel template for this purpose.

My Goal and Plan is a section listing concrete measures on how to control your drinking.
